YOUTUBE Another Tesla Semi has been spotted in the wild ahead of its
launch next year. Towards the end of 2017 a Semi was spotted driving
around California at low speeds during a rare road test. Now the truck’s
raw acceleration has been captured on camera for the first time - and
it looks completely bizarre. In the clip the truck is seen driving
slowly before it explodes away in a screech of tyres. It looks so
unusual for a giant and heavy truck to be able to charge from 0-60mph in
five seconds - about as quick as the new Model 3. The Semi truck in the
video seems to be the larger 500-mile range model with the higher roof
configuration. While the location was not shared, it is believed to be.
